I love London and all the different things you'll find right next to each other and how much fun you can have there. A friend and I went to Covent Garden and china town and if you wanted to go here are some things I recommend you do.
In chinatown there are two little shops I always go to. One is a sort of mini market where there are tons of cool chinese and japenese snacks and drinks and the other is a gift/ novelty shop.
These are some really cute biscuits you can get there there also little tins of tea which have them prettiest packaging a drink in a really tumblr clear can, and a soft drink called ramune which has a little glass marble in it.
In the main square next to the carpark there is a gift shop which sells lanterns, lucky cats, kimonos and many other chinese treats. I bought a lucky cat which was £6, but there are some smaller ones for £4, which is much cheaper than I thought they'd be and they are something really cute to take back from your day.
Slightly out of Covent garden in a small shopping mall there is a little shop called art box which sells cute cartoon stationary from all around the world. I bought these little stickers and covered an old phone case with them which looks really cool and quirky.
After all of this we went to covent garden and ate at shake shack. They have the best burgers ever. Ever. You order your food and then go and sit in the courtyard. The queue to order your food is really quick but sometimes you have to wait a bit to get a table as it gets quite busy, we went at 12:30/1 ish and we got a table really quickly, but when we left the queues for everything were pretty big.
After this we went to all of the shops and watched some of the street performers. Around seven dials there's American apparel, urban outfitters and the vans shop, where there is a really cool graffiti wall. Most of the good shops are spread out and it's worth finding them on a map before you go.
I hope that if any of you go to china town and covent garden you have a really great time and this post helps you. x
